TURKISH ADAPTATION OF THE WORKPLACE BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT SCALE: A VALIDITY AND RELIABILITY STUDY

Aim: This study was conducted to adapt the "Workplace Breastfeeding Support Scale" into Turkish and evaluate psychometric properties.
 Method: Two hundred twenty-five volunteering women aged 18 over, working in public sector for at least one month after leave, having an infant 4-12 months, breastfed a while or still breastfeeding were included study. IBM SPSS version 22.0 AMOS 20 programs used data analysis. For explanatory factor analysis (EFA), principal component, varimax vertical rotation scree plot test performed. Structural equation modeling (SEM) performed confirmatory (CFA). 
 Results: It determined that Cronbach's alpha coefficient of scale 0.78, item-total score correlations ranged between 0.26 0.65, no item removed from scale. confirmed had 2-factor structure as result EFA, validity by CFA, χ²/df ratio 1.928, RMSEA value 0.064, GFI 0.929, AGFI 0.896, TLI 0.908.
